Home Remedies for Hemorrhoids

Warm Water always relaxes the sphincter muscle which will help soothe the pain associated with hemorrhoid portrusions.
Fill your bath tub with four inches of warm water, but do not add anything to the water. Sit in the tub for about 15 minutes, and repeat this several times a day. This is the best way to get quick relief. Using Petroleum jelly also works as well as the expensive creams to reduce pain and swelling. After wiping, dab a small amount of petroleum jelly on a cotton ball and apply to the swollen area. Keep the area dry and clean. Do not use any scented toilet paper, soap or body wash because it can irritate the skin.
